More than Recycling

Recycling Responsibly

EnviroGreen launched January 1st 2011 with a goal of recycling wires and cords received from UPS Stores and AT&T UVerse cable accounts. The volatility of the recycling market helped us realize that there is still life in old electronics. Our goal is  to find a place for the electronics before they are doomed to a life in a scrap yard or broken down for the metals. Our goal is to UPCYCLE more than we Recycle. The end of 2016 resulted in 67% of the items we collect have been repurposed. As we end 2018 we are on target to reach 70% upcycling. We are not a scrapper, no do we accept bottles, cans or metals.

Our environmentally sound solutions for the secure, effective management and removal of any organization's end-of-life electronic assets are certified to meet or exceed business requirements.

EnviroGreen Electronic Recycling is a socially and environmentally responsible company that is certified to collect E-Waste by the California Department of Toxic Substance control. E-Waste is an informal name for electronic products nearing the end of the "useful life". Electronic discards are one of the fastest growing segments of our nation’s waste stream. EnviroGreen Electronic Recycling takes pride in its ZERO landfill policy. Nothing we collect goes into the landfills or 3rd world countries.

Our programs enable consumers to purchase a working computer or laptop starting at  $80.00.  We have a refurbishing and IT department to repair and upgrade any client’s computers for a very reasonable price. Or refurbish it for resale.

We also partner with San Diego’s Urban Corps to provide computer repair/diagnosis classes to its members. Along with employing 4 interns providing job training while they acquire their high school diploma.
