EnviroGreen Electronic Recycling: Over 14 Years of Environmental Impact

Starting from a pickup truck and a simple idea to make a difference, EnviroGreen has grown into a thriving team of over 10 employees. In 2024 alone, we proudly recycled over 4 million pounds of  electronics and upcycled over 18,000 monitors and 20,000 computers, giving them a second life.

Founded on January 1st, 2011, we initially focused on recycling wires and cords collected from shipping stores and cable providers. Over time, the volatility of the recycling market made us realize that old electronics still hold potential. This led to our commitment to upcycling more than we recycle.

At EnviroGreen, we believe in a better future, one where electronics don’t end up in landfills or pollute third-world countries. With our Zero Landfill Policy, nothing we collect goes to waste. In 2019, 70% of the collected items were repurposed, and the rest were responsibly recycled.

Our efforts help more than the environment. Thanks to our work, students and veterans in need can purchase low-cost refurbished phones, computers, and laptops. We also donate working appliances to individuals who were previously homeless, supporting their journey toward a fresh start.
