If you purchase our Certificate of Destruction for $25, we use a Degausser that makes data unreadable and unable to be recovered, destroying the hard drive and leaving it completely unusable.

Recycling any Apple products?
We strive to reuse these items within our education programs that help low income families and students in need whenever possible. Unfortunately, your old iPhone/iPad/iPod is still locked to your Apple ID and without removing that restriction, we are unable to adequately erase everything in preparation for reuse.
If you would be so kind, could you please remove this old iPhone/iPad/iPod from your iCloud account?
Option 1 from another computer:
- Go to https://www.iCloud.com and Sign in with your Apple ID (client email address)
- Go to Find My iPhone
- Click All Devices at the top of the screen
- Select the device that you want to remove from iCloud (iPhone/iPad/iPod)
- If necessary, click Erase [device].
- Click "Remove from Account"
Option 2 using another iPhone or iPad device:
1. Go to Settings
2. At the Top, Click on Your Name (Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes...)
3. On the next screen, Scroll down to the bottom and find the Device to Remove
(iPhone/iPad/iPod )
4. Select that Device (iPhone/iPad/iPod)
5. On the next screen click "Remove from Account"
